A Kingston restaurant has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Local Hero, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 22 Thames Street, Kingston Upon Thames was given the score after assessment on June 14, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Kingston's 388 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 230 (59%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
