New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Kingston’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Kingston’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Chessington Palace Kebab & Fish Bar, at Unit 2 Station Approach, Bridge Road, Chessington was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 1.

And Lebanese Express, at 47 Surbiton Road, Kingston Upon Thames was also given a score of five on February 2.

It means that of Kingston's 137 takeaways with ratings, 81 (59%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
