New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Kingston’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Jamaica Blue at Unit S10a Second Floor, The Bentall Centre, Wood Street, Kingston Upon Thames; rated on September 23

• Rated 5: Wenzel's The Bakers at 57 Clarence Street, Kingston Upon Thames; rated on September 23

• Rated 5: Gail's Bakery - Kingston at 3 - 5 Church Street, Kingston Upon Thames; rated on September 22

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 5: Star Gun Club at Princes Covert, Leatherhead Road Malden Rushett; rated on September 20
