New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Kingston’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Kingston Business School, at Kingston Hill Campus, Kingston Hill, Kingston Upon Thames was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 3.

And Momtaz Shisha Cafe And Restaurant, at 60-62 Coombe Road, Kingston Upon Thames was given a score of three on April 19.

It means that of Kingston's 384 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 243 (63%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
