New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Kingston’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Osaka Japanese Restaurant, at 358 Malden Road, Worcester Park was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 5.

And Don Emilio Italian Restaurant, at 4 Vale Parade, Kingston Vale, London was also given a score of four on July 3.

It means that of Kingston's 369 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 234 (63%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
