Food hygiene ratings handed to eight Kingston establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Kingston’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: The Market Place at Kingston University, Penrhyn Road, Kingston Upon Thames; rated on September 15

• Rated 5: Joa at 22 Castle Street, Kingston Upon Thames; rated on September 14

• Rated 4: The Place at 58 High Street, New Malden; rated on August 23

• Rated 3: Don Corleone at 24 Castle Street, Kingston Upon Thames; rated on August 22

• Rated 3: Moulin Rouge Cafe at 12 Castle Street, Kingston Upon Thames; rated on August 22

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 4: The Watchman at 184 High Street, New Malden; rated on August 23
