New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Kingston’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Pizza Express, at Unit 5 Rotunda Centre, Clarence Street, Kingston Upon Thames was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 26.

And Caffe Nero, at 13 Eden Walk, Kingston Upon Thames was given a score of zero on September 25.

It means that of Kingston's 395 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 245 (62%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
