New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Kingston’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Cafe Chiato, at Malden Centre, Blagdon Road, New Malden was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 28.

And Cafe Rosa, at 106 Alexandra Drive, Surbiton was given a score of three on March 28.

It means that of Kingston's 383 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 237 (62%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
