Good news as food hygiene ratings given to 14 Kensington and Chelsea establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 14 of Kensington and Chelsea’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to 11 restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Millennium Bailey's Hotel at 140 Gloucester Road, London; rated on August 8

• Rated 5: Cacciari's at 82 Old Brompton Road, London; rated on August 2

• Rated 5: Camden Coffee House at 155 Ladbroke Grove, London; rated on August 2

• Rated 5: Mooboo at 61 Beauchamp Place, London; rated on August 2

• Rated 5: Open Age at St Charles Hospital, Exmoor Street, London; rated on August 1

• Rated 5: The Ivy Chelsea at 197 King'S Road, London; rated on July 31

• Rated 5: Tinytalian at 244 Acklam Road, London; rated on July 28

• Rated 5: YHA at 38 Bolton Gardens, London; rated on July 27
