Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to eight Kensington and Chelsea establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Kensington and Chelsea’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to seven restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Lowry & Baker at 339 Portobello Road, London; rated on October 30

• Rated 5: Oakberry at Ground Floor, 231 Portobello Road, London; rated on October 30

• Rated 5: Rocca Di Papa at 73 Old Brompton Road, London; rated on October 27

• Rated 5: The Pavilion at The Orangery at Pavillion Perks Field, Kensington Palace Gardens, London; rated on October 26

• Rated 5: The Botanist at 7 Sloane Square, London; rated on October 25

• Rated 5: Belvedere Restaurant at Restaurant, Holland Park, London; rated on October 19

• Rated 5: Sticks 'N' Sushi at 111-115 King'S Road, London; rated on September 27

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:
