Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to 14 Kensington and Chelsea establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 14 of Kensington and Chelsea’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to 13 restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Elior at Town Hall, Hornton Street, London; rated on June 27

• Rated 5: La Brioche at 40 Old Brompton Road, London; rated on June 27

• Rated 5: Three Four Five Portobello Road at 345 Portobello Road, London; rated on June 27

• Rated 5: Jakobs at Basement And Ground Floor, 20 Gloucester Road, London; rated on June 26

• Rated 5: Nandos Chickenland at Basement And Ground Floor, 204 Earl'S Court Road, London; rated on June 26

• Rated 5: Hagen Chelsea at Ground Floor, 151 King'S Road, London; rated on June 23

• Rated 5: SAF Cafe at Sir Alexander Fleming Imperial College, Imperial College Road, London; rated on June 15

• Rated 5: Kensington Garden Cafe at Kensington Gardens Cafe, The Broad Walk, London; rated on June 14
