Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to 11 Kensington and Chelsea establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 11 of Kensington and Chelsea’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to nine restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Hjem Kensington at 3 Launceston Place, London; rated on December 5

• Rated 5: LABAKERY 2 at 260 Kensington High Street, London; rated on December 5

• Rated 5: Leafwild Cafe at Ground Floor, 156 Ladbroke Grove, London; rated on December 5

• Rated 5: Akoya at 253 Portobello Road, London; rated on December 4

• Rated 5: Bombay Brasserie at Courtfield Close, Courtfield Road, London; rated on December 1

• Rated 5: Orasay at 31 Kensington Park Road, London; rated on November 30

• Rated 5: Sally Clarke at 283 Westbourne Grove, London; rated on November 30

• Rated 5: Farm Fetch at 259 King'S Road, London; rated on November 29

• Rated 5: Gourmet Burger Kitchen at 107 Old Brompton Road, London; rated on November 28
