Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to 11 Kensington and Chelsea establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 11 of Kensington and Chelsea’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to eight restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Starbucks Coffee Company (UK) Limited at Units An And B, 369 Fulham Road, London; rated on January 9

• Rated 5: Acklam 242 Cafe at Westbourne Studios, 242 Acklam Road, London; rated on January 6

• Rated 5: La Delizia 1986 Ltd at 63-65 Chelsea Manor Street, London; rated on January 5

• Rated 5: Pret A Manger at 84 Holland Park Avenue, London; rated on January 5

• Rated 5: Rys Hair and Beauty at Shop, 176 Walton Street, London; rated on January 5

• Rated 5: Cafe Tarte Ltd at 270 Kensington High Street, London; rated on January 4

• Rated 5: Subway at Unit C, 369 Fulham Road, London; rated on December 20

• Rated 5: La Pappardella at 253 Old Brompton Road, London; rated on December 19
