An Islington takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Barbican Express Pizza, a takeaway at Basement And Ground Floor, 131-133 Whitecross Street, Islington was given the score after assessment on May 26, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Islington's 228 takeaways with ratings, 90 (39%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
