New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Bian Dang, at Ground And First Floor 60, 40-60 Brewery Road, Islington was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 28.

And Matteo's Cucina Italiana, at Ground And First Floor 60, 40-60 Brewery Road, Islington was also given a score of five on March 28.

It means that of Islington's 224 takeaways with ratings, 90 (40%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
