New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Osteria Tufo, at Ground Floor, 67 Fonthill Road, London was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 28.

And Brewhouse and Kitchen Limited, at Ground Floor, 2a Corsica Street, London was also given a score of five on July 21.

It means that of Islington's 962 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 454 (47%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
