New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Skal Nordic Dining, at 149a Upper Street, Islington, London was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 12.

And The Margins Project, at Union Chapel, Compton Terrace, Islington was also given a score of five on May 12.

It means that of Islington's 964 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 453 (47%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
