Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to 11 Islington establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 11 of Islington’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to eight restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Crudough at Ground Floor And Basement, 360 St John Street, London; rated on October 27

• Rated 5: Yard Sale Pizza at 54 Blackstock Road, London, N4 2dw; rated on October 27

• Rated 5: One Support at 18 Highbury Grove, London, N5 2ea; rated on October 20

• Rated 5: Hainan House at 88 Upper Street, London, N1 0np; rated on October 19

• Rated 5: Nando's at 277 Holloway Road, London, N7 8fb; rated on October 19

• Rated 5: The Iskele Restaurant at Ground Floor At 179 And 181, 177-187 Whitecross Street, London; rated on October 18

• Rated 5: Devotion Coffee at 55-57 Rosebery Avenue, London, Ec1r 4sd; rated on October 17

• Rated 5: Dragonfly Cafe at 71 Compton Street, London, Ec1v 0bn; rated on October 16
