Food hygiene ratings handed to two Islington restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

My Favourite Cafe, at Ground Floor And Basement, 310 Essex Road, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 16.

And Bursa Kebap Evi, at Cafe, 341 Upper Street, London was given a score of three on January 16.

It means that of Islington's 953 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 461 (48%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
