New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Kings Cross Church, at Ground Floor, 242-244 Pentonville Road, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 4.

And Adan Hand Crafted Pasta and Wine, at 25 Baron Street, London, N1 9et was given a score of one on January 4.

It means that of Islington's 949 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 460 (48%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
