New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Old Street Cafe, at 36 Old Street, London, Ec1v 9ae was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 14.

And Serata Hall, at 207b Old Street, London, Ec1v 9nr was also given a score of three on November 14.

It means that of Islington's 948 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 456 (48%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
