New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Spring Rose Cafe, at 93 Southgate Road, Islington, London was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 9.

And The India, at Basement Ground And Mezzanine Floors, 20 City Road, Islington was also given a score of three on March 9.

It means that of Islington's 969 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 447 (46%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
