New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Horatia, at 98-100 Holloway Road, Islington, London was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 6.

And The Hope workers Cafe, at Ground Floor, 111 Holloway Road, Islington was given a score of three on February 3.

It means that of Islington's 975 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 447 (46%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
