New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

01-Yeni Adana Restaurant, at 25-27 Green Lanes, Islington, London was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 3.

And The Blue Owl, at Ground Floor, 155 Stroud Green Road, Islington was given a score of two on January 3.

It means that of Islington's 965 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 439 (45%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
