Food hygiene ratings handed to two Islington restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Alcedo Bistro & Bar, at Ground Floor And Rear First Floor, 237 Holloway Road, Islington was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 9.

And Sushi Wa, at 28-30 Montdore House, 26-30 Highgate Hill, Islington was given a score of three on August 9.

It means that of Islington's 938 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 410 (44%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
