Food hygiene ratings handed to two Islington restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

El Rincon, at Ground Floor, 235 Holloway Road, Islington was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 8.

And Sproot, at 116d Upper Street, Islington, London was given a score of two on March 8.

It means that of Islington's 928 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 400 (43%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
