Food hygiene ratings handed to two Islington restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

COFFEE JOINT, at Ground Floor, 133 Newington Green Road, Islington was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 10.

And Zam Zam, at Upper Ground, 228-230 Seven Sisters Road, Islington was given a score of one on January 10.

It means that of Islington's 869 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 382 (44%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
