New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

SANJUGO ANGEL, at 42 Duncan Street, London, N1 8bl was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 7.

And The Greek souvlaki Club, at 138 Blackstock Road, London, N4 2dx was also given a score of four on December 7.

It means that of Islington's 951 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 460 (48%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
