New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Wolkite, at 82 Hornsey Road, London, N7 7nn was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 13.

And Bottega Italia, at Ground Floor, 651 Holloway Road, London was given a score of one on October 13.

It means that of Islington's 960 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 461 (48%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
