New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

La Vita e Bella, at Basement And Ground Floor, 16 Theberton Street, London was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 10.

And Chickzilla, at Shop, 293 Caledonian Road, London was given a score of one on July 10.

It means that of Islington's 967 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 458 (47%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
