New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Ropemaker Cafe @ Skanska, at Ground Floor Management Office Ropemaker Place, 25 Ropemaker Street, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 4.

And Bocas, at Ground Floor, 178-180 St John Street, London was given a score of three on July 4.

It means that of Islington's 962 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 454 (47%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
