Food hygiene ratings given to two Islington restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Engle Field, at 342 Essex Road, Islington, London was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 22.

And Emba Soira, at Ground Floor, 10 Crouch Hill, Islington was given a score of two on May 22.

It means that of Islington's 965 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 453 (47%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
