New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Chapel Cafe, at 71 Chapel Market, Islington, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 17.

And Top Cuvee, at 177a-177b Blackstock Road, Islington, London was given a score of two on May 17.

It means that of Islington's 966 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 453 (47%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
