New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Berber & Q Shawarma Bar, at Basement And Ground, 46 Exmouth Market, Islington was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 10.

And Macellaio Roberto Costa, at Ground Floor At 40, 38-40 Exmouth Market, Islington was given a score of two on January 10.

It means that of Islington's 967 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 439 (45%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
