Food hygiene ratings given to two Islington restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Caffe Tiffin, at Basement And Ground, 69 Compton Street, Islington was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 30.

And Mediterraneo, at Basement And Ground Floor, 112 King'S Cross Road, Islington was also given a score of four on November 30.

It means that of Islington's 972 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 434 (45%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
