Food hygiene ratings given to two Islington restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Giovannis, at Basement And Ground Floor Flat, 12 City Road, Islington was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 5.

And Taste of China, at 11 Islington High Street, Islington, London was given a score of two on September 5.

It means that of Islington's 945 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 415 (44%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
