New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

• Rated 4: Go Mezza at 680 Holloway Road, Islington, London; rated on May 24

• Rated 3: Ocean Supermarket / Ocean Kitchen at Ground Floor, 334-336 Caledonian Road, Islington; rated on May 24

• Rated 1: Abshir at Ground Floor, 326 Holloway Road, Islington; rated on May 24

It means that of Islington's 967 similar establishments with ratings, 453 (47%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
