Road closures: two for Hounslow drivers this week

And one of them is expected to cause major delays – with motorists facing a holdup of at least 30 minutes. Another will cause moderate delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start this week:

M4, from 10pm September 26 to 5am September 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 1, carriageway closure for Structures works taking place on TLRN, diversion via TFL roads.

M4, from 5am September 27 to 10pm October 22, severe delays (more than 30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 1, 24/7 Lane closure for Structure works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
