Road closures: two for Hounslow drivers this week

Drivers in and around Hounslow will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Hounslow will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with both of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start this week:

• M4, from 10pm April 27 to 5am April 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 2, Lane closures for structures inspections.

• M4, from 10pm April 28 to 5.30am April 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4 to junction 3, Lane closure for smart motorway works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
