Road closures: three for Hounslow drivers this week

Drivers in and around Hounslow will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause severe delays – with motorists facing a holdup of at least 30 minutes. Another will cause moderate delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A30, from 9.30am November 28 to 4pm December 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Crooked Billet to junction A315, Lane closure for CAT 2 carriageway repairs works.

And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:

M4, from 10pm December 5 to 5am December 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 1 to junction 3, carriageway closure and entry slip road closures for CAT1 barrier repairs, diversion via TFL roads.

M4, from 11pm December 9 to 5am December 12, severe delays (more than 30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 2 to junction 1, Full weekend closure for TFL structural works on A4, diversion via TFL roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
