Road closures: three for Hounslow drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Hounslow will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Hounslow will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M4, from 10pm May 30 to 5am June 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 1 to junction Heston Services, carriageway, lane and entry slip road closure for barrier repair works, diversion via local authority network and National Highways network.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A30, from 9.30am June 6 to 4pm June 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 northbound, Crooked Billet to TFL, Lane closure for CAT 1 carriageway and drainage defects works.

M4, from 10pm June 8 to 5am June 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 4, Lane closure for structures inspections works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
