Road closures: four for Hounslow drivers this week

Drivers in and around Hounslow will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Hounslow will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M4, from 10pm May 9 to 5am May 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 2, carriageway, lane and entry slip road closures for barrier repair works, diversion via local authority network.

And a further three closures will begin over the next seven days:

M4, from 10pm May 22 to 5am May 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4 to junction 3, mobile lane closures for Met Police for calibration of HADECS safety cameras.

M4, from 10pm May 24 to 5.30am May 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 2 to junction 4, Lane closures for Smart Motorways.

M4, from 10pm May 30 to 5am June 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 1 to junction Heston Services, carriageway, lane and entry slip road closure for barrier repair works, diversion via local authority network and National Highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
