Road closures: four for Hounslow drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Hounslow will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Hounslow will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M4, from 10pm January 22 to 5.30am January 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction three to junction 1, Lane, carriageway, entry and exit slip road closure for improvement works, diversion via local authority networks.

M4, from 10pm January 24 to 5.30am January 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 1 to junction 3, carriageway, lane, exit and entry slip road closure for improvement works, diversion via local authority network.

M4, from 9.30am January 29 to 4pm January 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 to junction 2, Hard Shoulder closure for Upgrade works.

M4, from 10pm January 29 to 5am February 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 1, Lane closures for barrier repairs.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
