Road closures: five for Hounslow drivers this week

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start this week:

M4, from 10pm July 4 to 5am July 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 2 to junction 1, carriageway and slip road closures for urgent VRS repairs, diversion via Local authorities.

M4, from 10pm July 4 to 5.30am July 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 2 to junction 4, Lane closures for smart motorway works.

M4, from 11pm July 8 to 5.30am July 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 2, Lane closures for M4 smart motorway works.

M4, from 10.30pm July 10 to 5.30am July 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 2 to junction 3, Lane closures for M4 smart motorway works.

M4, from 10pm July 18 to 6am July 23, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 1 to junction 2, slip road and Lane closure for survey works, diversion via National highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
