Hounslow road closures: two for motorists to avoid this week

Hounslow's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause major delays – with drivers facing a holdup of at least 30 minutes. Another will cause moderate delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M4, from 10.30pm October 2 to 5.30am October 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 1, carriageway closure and entry slip road closure for Structures works taking place on TLRN, diversion via TFL roads.

M4, from 5am September 27 to 10pm October 22, severe delays (more than 30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 1, 24/7 Lane closure for Structure works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
