Hounslow's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Hounslow's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And they are both are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start this week:

• M4, from 6am to 6pm on September 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 2, slip road closure closed on police instruction, diversion via Local authorities.

• M4, from 6am to 6pm on September 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3, slip road closure closed on police instruction, diversion via Local authorities.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
