Hounslow road closures: two for motorists to avoid this week

Hounslow's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start this week:

• M4, from 10pm May 18 to 5.30am May 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4, junction 2 to junction 3 westbound, Lane closures for smart motorway works.

• M4, from 10pm May 19 to 5.30am June 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 3 between the exit and entry slip roads, carriageway closure for joint replacement works, diversion via National Highways Network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
