Hounslow road closures: three for motorists to avoid this week

Hounslow's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Hounslow's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause major delays – with drivers facing a wait of at least half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start this week:

A30, from 9.30am November 28 to 4pm December 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Crooked Billet to junction A315, Lane closure for CAT 2 carriageway repairs works.

M4, from 10pm December 7 to 5.30am December 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 2 to junction 3, Lane closures for M4 SMP temporary CCTV/TASCAR removal.

M4, from 11pm December 9 to 5am December 12, severe delays (more than 30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 2 to junction 1, Full weekend closure for TFL structural works on A4.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
