Hounslow road closures: three for motorists to avoid this week

Hounslow's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause major delays – with drivers facing a wait of at least 30 minutes. Another will cause moderate delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M4, from 5am September 27 to 5am November 6, severe delays (more than 30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 1, 24/7 Lane closure for Structure works.

And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:

M4, from 10pm November 3 to 5am November 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 2 to junction 3, Lane closures and exit slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via National Highways roads.

A30, from 9.30am November 14 to 4pm November 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Staines Road to Crooked Billet roundabout, Lane closure for CAT 2 carriageway defects works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
