Hounslow's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Hounslow's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures are due to start this week:

A30, from 10pm May 9 to 5am May 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Town Lane to TFL boundary, Lane closure for CAT1 gully repair works.

M4, from 10pm May 9 to 5.30am May 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 2, entry slip road closure for CAT1 electrical works, diversion route local authority network and M4, junction 3.

M4, from 10pm May 9 to 5am May 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 2, carriageway, lane and entry slip road closures for barrier repair works, diversion via local authority network.

M4, from 10pm May 13 to 6am May 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 2 to junction 4, Lane closures for Smart Motorways.

M4, from 10pm May 15 to 5am May 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 4, carriageway, lane and entry slip road closures for gantry inspection works, diversion local authority network and M4, junction 2, (HA_DR26).

M4, from 10pm May 22 to 5.30am May 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 1 to junction 2, Lane closures and exit slip road closure for survey works, diversion via TFL roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
